In a Notification dated 30th October, 2019, the Tamil Nadu State Government has fixed the number of hours of work for Sales Promotion employees.
The number of hours of work as fixed is 8 hours in the manner as mentioned in the tabular column below.

Further, the number of hours of work of sales promotion employees should not exceed 54 hours in aggregate in a week, including over time.
Please note that Sales Promotion Employees are entitled to overtime wages as double the normal wages.
