Ministry of Health and Family Welfare adds Inland Container Depot Dhannad, Indore in Madhya Pradesh as a place through which drugs can be imported to India

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (“Ministry”) through a Notification No. G.S.R. 653(E), dated 13th September 2019 has amended the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 (“Parent Rules”) by bringing out the Drugs and Cosmetics (Twelfth Amendment) Rules, 2019.

Rule 43A of the Parent Rules talks about the names of the places through which drugs can be imported to India specifically.

The Amendment has gone forward and added another name to the list of places through which drugs can be imported to India. The new name of the place is Inland Container Depot Dhannad, Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
