West Bengal Pollution Control Board issues revised fee structure for consents and authorisations under multiple environmental laws

The West Bengal Pollution Control Board has revised the fees for Consent to Establish, Consent to Operate and Authorisation under various Environment Protection Rules.

The fees have been revised for all Red, Orange and Green category industries.

The revised fees are effective since 16th April 2018.

 

The fees for the following have been revised:

(i)            Consent to establish for all industrial Units (Other than health care establishments).

(ii)           Consent to establish for all industrial Units (Other than health care establishments).

(iii)          Consent to establish and Consent to Operate for commercial complexes, Office Complexes, IT Complexes.

(iv)          Consent to establish and consent to operate for Diesel Generator sets (above 1 MVA) for Non-Industrial use except for health care establishment.

(v)           Consent to Establish for Healthcare Establishments.

(vi)          Consent to Operate and authorization of Bio Medical Waste for Healthcare establishment providing services to indoor patients and Healthcare Establishments not treating or providing services to indoor patients.

(vii)        Authorisation of industry for generating, managing, handling, storing, treating, disposing hazardous waste.

(viii)       Authorisation for handling and processing municipal solid waste.

(ix)          Authorisation under E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016.
