Unique Transaction Reference numbers to be verified before accepting fees for consent/authorization/registration through RTGS/NEFT, says DPCC

The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (“DPCC”) has, through an Office Memorandum dated 11th June, 2018, clarified that the details of the payment of fees for consent/authorization/registration/monitoring of effluent/emissions/noise, made through RTGS / NEFT, shall be accepted by the Accounts Branch of DPCC, only if the Unique Transaction Reference (UTR) numbers of such transactions uploaded by the applicants are found to be matching with the uniquely credited transaction in DPCC account.

Background:

In furtherance to the update in the trail mail, the DPCC had, by a Public Notice, stopped the acceptance of any kind of fees in offline mode from 15th March, 2018.

The DPCC had informed that such payments could be made in digital mode through the following:

  1. SBI e-pay (Net-banking) and
  2. Credit Card (Master & Visa)

The DPCC had further informed that a provision was also made for making such payment through RTGS / NEFT in favour of DPCC. The details of such transaction are required to be uploaded while submitting the online application, and such applications will be considered as submitted only after the reconciliation of such transaction by the Accounts Branch of DPCC in the online portal.

This Office Memorandum has been issued for providing further clarification regarding such payment through RTGS / NEFT.
