This is a quick update to let you that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”) has notified the Companies (Incorporation) Fourth Amendment Rules, 2019 extending the deadline for filing e-Form INC 22A (ACTIVE) from April 25, 2019 to June 15, 2019.
Consequently, the MCA has in another notification issued to the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Second Amendment Rules, 2019 which specifies that in case of filing of Form INC 22A (ACTIVE) beyond 15th June, 2019, Companies will be charged with fees for late filing amounting to Rs. 10,000/-.
In effect the timeline for delayed filing has been extended by virtue of both the amendments and filings may be made till June 15, 2019 without paying any additional fees.
The notifications are effective from April 25, 2019.
