MCA extends timeline to file NFRA-2 (Filling Annual Return); must be filed within 90 days from the date of being deployed on the NFRA website

In a Notification dated 27th November, 2019, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”) has extended the last date of filing of Form NFRA-2 (Filling Annual Return)(“Form”) till 90 days from the date of deployment of the Form on the website of National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA).

Background:

 

MCA had received representations regarding extension of the last date of filing of Form NFRA-2, required to be filed under Rule 5 of the National Financial Reporting Authority Rules, 2018.

[The NFRA-2 has not been published in the NFRA Website. The applicability of the extension of time period will begin from the deployment of the form in https://nfra.gov.in/]
