In furtherance to the update shared vide the trailing email, where the Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2017 had received the presidential assent, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has now issued a notification dated January 23, 3018.
According to this Notification, Section 1 and Section 4 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017 will come into force from January 26, 2018.
