Commercial Tax Department – Government of Madhya Pradesh has issued a Notification FA 3-50/2016/1/V (03) dated 28.01.2019 to insert a new clause in the proviso after clause (x) in sub rule (1) of Rule 54 of the Madhya Pradesh VAT Rules, 2006 to provide extension for submission of VAT Audit Report for the Financial Year 2017-18 up to 15th day of February, 2019 without payment of late fees.
Also, a new proviso has been added, in clause (ii) of sub-rule (1), in the rule 23 of the Madhya Pradesh VAT Rules, 2006, to allow furnishing the revised return pertaining for the Financial Year 2017-2018 up to 15th day of February, 2019, by a dealer having annual turnover exceeding Rupees one crore.
