The Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (“WDRA”) has recently issued a notice to the owners of warehouses directing them to comply with the performance requirements prescribed under Rule 37 (Transition Provisions) of the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses Rules, 2017 (“Rules”).

WDRA has directed all owners of registered warehouses to submit the Compliance Report under New Registration Rules (copy attached) along with requisite documents before 22nd August, 2017.

Further, the WDRA has emphasized that failure to submit the compliance report in the specified format before August 22, 2017 will lead to automatic cancellation of the registration of the warehouse.
