Tripura Labour Department invites comments on the Draft Tripura Shops and Establishments (5th Amendment) Rules, 2017
The Tripura Labour Department (“Department”), by way of a notification dated 19th July, 2017, has issued the Draft Tripura Shops and Establishments (5th Amendment) Rules, 2017 (“Draft Amendment Rules”).
The Draft Amendment Rules propose revision in the fees for registration / renewal of registration under Schedule I of the Tripura Shops and Establishments Rules, 1970 (“Principal Rule”). Objections and suggestions are invited on these Draft Amendment Rules till 19th August, 2017.

- The Draft Amendment Rules propose that the registrations which have been renewed yearly w.e.f.1stJanuary, 2016 with the prescribed fees which were notified earlier will be deemed to have been renewed for 3 years for every such yearly renewal.
