This is a quick update to inform that the Securities Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) on 9th October, 2018 has published the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and Participants) Regulations, 2018 (“New Regulation”) effective 3rd October, 2018.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and Participants) Regulations, 1996 (“Old Regulation”) stands repealed on commencement of the New Regulation.
