Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) invites comments and suggestions on the draft Charter of Patient’s Rights within 29th September, 2018

Further to the adoption of the Charter of Patient’s Rights (“Charter”) by National Human Rights Commission (“NHRC”), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (“MOHFW”) has, in  a notice dated August 30, 2018, placed the draft of the Charter in the public domain inviting comments and suggestions on it within 29th September, 2018.

Comments and suggestions, if any, on the Charter, may be addressed to Dr. Anil Kumar, Addl.DDG, Dte. GHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Room No. 560-A, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi – 110108 or by e-mail to help.ceact2010@nic.in  

MOHFW plans to implement the Charter through State Governments for providing for proper health care to patients by the Clinical Establishments.
