Medical Diagnostic Laboratories or Pathological Laboratories likely to come within the purview of the Clinical Establishments Act as adopted by the State of Haryana

The Haryana Government, keeping in view to prescribe minimum standards of facilities and to prescribe for the Registration and Regulation of Clinical Establishment in the State had adopted the Clinical Establishment (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010 on 25th January 2018. The Act is applicable all Clinical Establishments having more than 50 beds.

Now, with a view to improve the Minimum Standards of the Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (or Pathological Laboratories), the Government of Haryana has decided to include all clinical establishments relating to diagnosis or treatment of diseases where pathological, bacteriological, genetic, radiological, chemical, biological investigations or other diagnostic or investigative services are usually carried out with the aid of laboratory or other medical equipment within the purview of the Act.

This proposal will come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
