Karnataka Government too does away with the requirement to renew registration under the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1961

After Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and West Bengal doing away with the requirement to renew registration under the Shops and Establishments Act, now the Karnataka Government in a recent Order dated 11th June, 2019 has also gone ahead and eliminated the existing process of renewal of registration under the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1961.

Going forward, the registration will be auto-renewed after submitting self-certification and paying renewal fees online through the department portal.

This Order is expected to be published in the next issue of the Karnataka Gazette.
