With a view to speed up the process of registration/renewal certificates under the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishment Act, 1958 (“Act”), the Haryana Labour Department (“Department”) has eliminated the inspection requirements prior to grant of registration.

In this regard, the Department has issued an order on 19th June, 2017.

The Department has further directed the concerned Registering Authorities under the Act to grant registration certificate and subsequent renewal through e-services within one day from the date of application. For this purpose, the Department has created a link on its website (https://www.hrylabour.gov.in/) which will generate the deemed Registration/Renewal Certificate.

Prior to this order, inspection was carried out prior to grant of registration under the Act.
