Haryana Labour Department mandates adoption of inspection under the Central Inspection System to all business establishments covered under various Labour Laws with immediate effect

By notification dated 11th October 2017, the Labour Department, Government of Haryana (“Department”), has given a mandatory order stating that all the business establishments covered for inspections under various Labour Laws (to be conducted by the officers and officials of the Labour Department) shall adopt the Central lnspection System with immediate effect.

 

Background

 

The Department of Industrial Promotion and Policy, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India has published the Business Reform Action Plan 2017 under which the Central Inspections Systems has been developed.

 

The statutory inspections will be conducted in the manner and procedure laid down under the Central Inspections System, and in synchronization with other departments as mandated. The relevant link is available at www.cisharyana.in and is likely to be shifted to www.cisharyana.gov.in very soon.
