The Labour Employment Training and Factories Department, Government of Telangana, through a notification dated 20th January, 2020, has declared a paid holiday to all the employees/workers, working in factories, shops and establishments and industrial undertakings/establishments on the day of the polling for ordinary elections for specified Municipalities and Municipal Corporations, if there is no holiday on such day.
The present notification has been issued with regard to the earlier election notifications for certain specific areas under notification Nos. 3038/TSEC-ULBs/2019, Dated 7th January, 2019, 2745/TSEC-ULBs/2019, dated 7th January 2020 and 3038/TSEC-ULBs/2019-1, dated 9th January 2020.
