Commissioner of State Tax-Maharashtra has issued a Circular No 8T/2019 to clarify that the dealers who have submitted the VAT Audit report in Form e-704 for Financial Year 2017-18 by 28th February, 2019 are now required to submit the copy of the acknowledgment duly signed by him and the auditor to the Nodal Officer along with following documents:
- The duly certificated Statement of submission of Audit Report in the format as given in the Notification No: VAT/AMD — 2013/1B/ADM — 8 dated 23rd August 2013 with signature, stamp, seal of the dealer and;
- The copy of Acknowledgement generated after uploading of Audit Report in Form-704, duly certified with signature, stamp, seal of the dealer and Auditor, with date.
The last date for submission of above documents is 10th day of April, 2019.
Please note, if the dealers has already submitted the certified copy of acknowledgment to the concerned Nodal officer , then there is no need to submit the same again.
