Delhi pollution Control Committee directs hospitals and diagnostic centers to dispose off their X-ray fixer and developer waste through Registered Recyclers only

The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (“DPCC”) in a Circular dated August 8, 2018, has directed all hospitals and diagnostic centers which have generated X-ray fixer and Developer to dispose of their X-ray fixer and developer waste through Registered Recyclers of the adjoining States who have a valid registration / consent under Hazardous Waste Rules, 2016 (“Rules”). M/s Malana Silver Nitrate Recycling Unit at Village Rampur Gujran, Moonak, Distt. Sangrur, Punjab has been named by the Punjab Pollution Control Board as the registered recycler, authorized under the Rules for recycling/ utilizing of X-ray fixer solution up to 30th June, 2019.
