The Labor Commissioner, Delhi, through a notification dated 27th January 2020, has granted a paid holiday on 8th February 2020 for all employees working in different establishments across NCT Delhi and are electors of the Delhi Legislative Assembly scheduled on 8th February 2020.
Accordingly, all employers of Industrial Establishments/ Factories/ Shops and Commercial Establishments in NCT Delhi have been directed to grant one day paid holiday on 8th February 2020 (in case it is a working day) to the employees who are electors of the Delhi Legislative Assembly to enable such employees to cast their vote on the day of polling.
