Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued Notification No. 06/2019- Central Tax dated 29th January, 2019 to amend Notification No. 65/2017 dated 15th November, 2017 to increase the threshold limit for taking GST registration for suppliers who supply services through e-commerce operator in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Uttarakhand from Rs.10 lakhs to Rs. 20 lakhs.
The said Notification shall come into force from 1st day of February, 2019.
